Adopt-a-Grandparent

Tau Kappa Epsilon also helps out other organizations in their efforts to help out the community and other great causes. One organization that brothers have been able to help out was Ashland University's Community Care with the Adopt-a-Grandparent program at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland.
 
The members of Tau Kappa Epsilon helped out Adopt-a-Grandparent throughout the school year, including at special events. Two big events that TKE helped out with was the Senior Prom and also the Halloween Party. During the Senior Prom members of Tau Kappa Epsilon helped set up the event along with helping residents get from place to place, dancing, socializing, and serving food along with making sure everyone had a great time. During the Halloween party the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon helped residents hand out candy to their grandchildren and youth of the Ashland community. 
 
Tau Kappa Epsilon also helped with other events at Good Shepherd along with Adopt-a-Grandparent. Members would go during the week days and assist the senior citizens in playing games and would just "hang out" and have a good time.
